Through a combination of top-notch on-demand leadership training from our partner, BetterCulture, alongside local sessions led by WNCC Alliance Director Misty Curtis, Leadership Box Butte invites you to explore the wisdom of great leaders, offering you practical insights and techniques to enhance your leadership skills within your organization and community.
- Cost: $550, which includes online training access, in-person sessions, a workbook, a 2-day trip to Lincoln for the Legislative Session, and a Certificate with Recognition
- Orientation and Commencement: 5:30 PM
- Modules: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM at WNCCAlliance Campus
- The Lincoln Trip is optional but highly recommended

Facilitated By:
Misty Curtis is an experienced leader with over 20 years of experience in education and leadership development. She is a certified leadership trainer through Phi Theta Kappa and has served on various leadership and accreditation teams in Wyoming and Nebraska. Curtis holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Doane University and an Educational Leadership certification from the University of Wyoming. She is the Alliance Campus Director at Western Nebraska Community College and resides in Box Butte County with her husband, Daniel, and their three children. She is also a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society for academic excellence and is dedicated to empowering others and enhancing the community through Leadership Box Butte.
